Using Natural Solutions

I have always leaned towards a holistic viewpoint. It’s probably because I believe that God created everything with careful thought and purpose. With all the medication I received going through my treatments, I had no idea how many side effects I would need to deal with after the whole process was over. 
Although I was so grateful for the modern medicine I received, I wanted more! For the most part, nutrition helped me tremendously. However, I wanted to see if I could apply the same principles with food to essential oils. And let me tell was AMAZING!!!
I was struggling so much with sleep. Since my first treatment, if I slept 4 hours a night...that was a great night. I couldn’t even take a nap longer than 15 minutes. I was exhausted... felt like I was constantly in a fog... and was now dealing with anxiety, which I never really dealt with before.
Thankfully, a good friend of mine mentioned how Lavender has been shown to help with anxious feelings and create a calm atmosphere. I then remembered that I had a diffuser and lavender at home. I couldn’t wait to get back home and try it!
That night I put 4-5 drops in the diffuser and a drop on my pillow. I wasn’t playing around. I desperately wanted sleep.
Friends, I slept deep for 5 hours. When I woke up, I felt renewed and refreshed. I was going through radiation at the time and now I had a sense of hope. I knew how important sleep was in my healing process, so to struggle so much with sleep was making me even more anxious...and irritable. 
After a week, I wanted to see if there was more I could do to sleep longer. Then entered one of my favorite oils to this day...Serenity. The name pretty much sums it up perfectly. When I started using Serenity, I began to sleep longer and eventually got up to 7-8 hours.
Even though I don’t struggle as much anymore, when I do...I grab my bottle of Serenity and sleep like a baby.
